Richard joined P. J. O’Driscolls in 2004 having previously worked with a leading commercial law firm in Dublin for several years. He has also worked in a major international pharmaceutical company as legal adviser.
Corporate & Commercial Richard primarily works in the area of Corporate & Commercial Law, with a particular focus on advising companies and their directors. He also regularly advises on a full range of commercial contracts and on employment law issues with an emphasis on achieving practical solutions. His emphasis is on being available at all times to clients to give them practical and workable advice.
Banking & Finance Richard also advises extensively on issues of Banking and Finance, acting for both lenders and borrowers. He has advised on complex project finance in several high profile Renewable Energy projects and in several major Hotel/Leisure/Commercial developments.
Renewable Energy Richard has worked on many renewable energy projects in Ireland. He has advised on most aspects of renewables projects from financing & construction issues to detailed regulatory and Single Electricity Market (SEM) issues for a range of clients.
Richard has lectured with the Law Society of Ireland and with the Institute of Directors. He has also published several articles. Richard is also admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales.
